Abstract:
Papers of the American pediatrician, author, and peace activist and his wife Mary Morgan. Collection includes extensive correspondence and writings by both Morgan and Spock, Dr. Spock's medical reference files, memorabilia; cartoons, caricatures, articles by and about Spock, clippings, and photographs relating to his political activities (1951- 1998), including material about the National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy and his campaign for President as the nominee of the People's Party in 1972; legal files including his estate documents and various court cases in which Morgan and Spock were involved. In addition, there are records of the DrSpock.com website and the editions of Baby and Child Care published after Dr. Spock's death (1998).
